You can search for letters by your college, school or academic department. Scholarship amounts and eligibility requirements vary, and awards are generally limited to only those students pursuing a degree in a particular academic program.

ASU offers the New American University Transfer Scholarship for non-resident transfer students who meet high academic standards and have financial need. Students must submit an application and fill out the FAFSA on the board by May 1st or October 1, as the case may be. they should consider spring as a priority.

ASU extends our support to all students and families who apply for Free Federal Student Aid to achieve their educational goals. Seed Scholarship Application

Residents of Western States (excluding Arizona) may enroll in the Western Undergraduate Exchange at a tuition fee of 150 percent of Arizona resident base tuition, plus all applicable fees for fall and spring terms only. ASU Distinguished Scholars scholarships are awarded based on your ACT/SAT scores, class rank, and/or high school GPA.

Once admitted to ASU, your high school transcript and/or ACT/SAT scores will be automatically evaluated to determine your eligibility for the ASU Distinguished Scholarship. No application is required.

If you have been awarded an ASU Distinguished Scholarship, you will be notified by email within two weeks of being admitted to ASU.

We encourage you to take the ACT or SAT as often as possible in high school to try to improve your reputation. International freshmen must have a qualifying certificate to be eligible for the Distinguished Scholarship. You can even play on our campus!

Testimonials taken and scores received after the previous dates for admission to ASU (April 1 for fall admission or October 15 for spring admission) will be reviewed if funds are available. 

You must be fully enrolled (at least 12 credit hours) for the ASU Distinguished Scholarship to be awarded.

Repeated developmental and dual credit courses will not count toward your enrollment or renewal requirements.

Students awarded the ASU Distinguished Scholarship based on their ACT/SAT test scores, and who meet the renewal requirements, will receive their scholarship for four years or until they receive their bachelor’s degree, whichever comes first.

College Scholarship Opportunities

If you are eligible for the ASU Scholarship Award, you will be eligible to pay in-state tuition at ASU for the duration of your scholarship.

If you withdraw or drop below 12 credit hours on or before the 12th day of the regular university semester), the scholarship award must be cancelled. This can create a balance for the academy.
